PHP questions
Partial Hospitalization typically runs about 25 to 30 hours per week across five days, usually mornings through mid-afternoon, with clients returning home or to sober living each evening.
No. PHP is an outpatient level of care: there is no overnight stay on-site. It is the most intensive outpatient option and is often used as a step down from inpatient or detox.
PHP requires a substantial daytime commitment, so most clients take medical leave during this phase. Many step down to IOP, which is designed to fit around work and family.
